Realization of My Identity

All alone when I stood in front of my mirror,

I felt as if it asked me "who are you my dear?"

I thought for a while before saying anything,

and then I saw a smile on the face of my reflection.

It told me, that you may not be loved by everyone,

But the people who know you well, love you the way you are.

You may not be a friend to everybody,

But neither you have enemosity towards others.

You love to smile and have fun with others,

But get hurt if somebody makes fun of others.

Though, have a lot of sorrow inside,

But you never wanted others to get hurt by them.

Whenever I ask you, that are you a good person?

Before you could answer that, you would see a smile on my face.

Never needed a reason to find the answer for the question.

Because, you may not be perfect, but you are unique in your own ways.

Angels on Earth

'She' is the mother who gave life to you,
'She' is the sister who stood beside you.

'She' is the daughter who brought happiness to you,
'She' is the wife who helped understand the meaning of love to you.

She is the granny, who recites stories to you,
'She' is the friend, who without saying anything says 'I am always there for you'.

'She' is the teacher who helped bringing wisdom to you,
'She' is the nurse who bought back your health to you.

Care for her and respect the angels on earth,
as 'She' is the women who made life alive for you.

Angelic Devil

I may not be always perfect,
But I am perfect with my imperfections.

I may not be always happy,
But I am happy with my grief.

I may not be always smiling,
But I am smiling with my tears.

I may not be obedient always,
But I am obedient with my disobedience.

I may not be always beautiful ,
But I am beautiful with my ugliness.

I may not be always sophisticated,
But I am sophisticated with my simplicity.

I may not be always good,
But I am good with my wickedness.

I may not be a so called 'Angel'
But I am angelic with the devil inside me.

Accept this fact and beware of me,
As this is who I am and will always be.

My Companion

Whatever I do, you do the same,
Wherever I go, you follow me,
I may not realize that you are with me all the time,
But either visible or invisible, you are always with me.

When everybody betrays, you still follow me,
You are a part of my identity,
People may consider me as a person on my own,
But I feel, you are my part whether known or unknown.

Whenever darkness surrounds, I may not see you,
But the moment I see a light of hope, what I find beside me is always you,
Others may not give you importance and call you just a shadow,
But for me you are important and I am happy to say that you are 'My Shadow'.

Though for others I may be on my own,
But for me I can say, you are with me and I am never alone.

Expectations!!!

Why do we expect so much from life?

We never expected to be born,
Still we are living a life.

We never expected to be sad,
Still we were at some point of time.

We never expected to be alone,
Still we were with no one around.

We never expected to see atrocities,
Still we are with a lot of them to surround.

We never expected to lose someone we love,
Still they are not always around.

We never expected to fail in life,
Still there are few battles we lost.

We never expected to leave this world,
Still one day we all will be gone.

All these things made my thoughts alive
Why do we still expect so much from life?

Be Happy!!!

Life is too short to be sad.
Be Happy,
At least you have a life to be lived.

Lost and failed all battles.
Be Happy,
At least you had the courage to fight.

Don't have any vehicle to drive.
Be Happy,
At least you have a journey to cover.

Haven't eaten anything since long.
Be Happy,
At least you have an appetite to survive.

Never got any care or affection.
Be Happy,
At least you can give what you have never got.

People talking behind your back.
Be Happy,
At least you have gone ahead some miles.

Neither music nor a song; no rhythms around.
Be Happy,
At least you can still listen to the composition of your heart.

The beautiful past is no longer present.
Be Happy,
At least you can still cherish their memories.

The future may not be as promising as it seems.
Be Happy,
At least you can still dream and desire.

Life is not always perfect.
Be Happy,
At least you are still alive.
  

AWAKENING!!!

Sometime someday there will come a time,

When the land will be red instead of brown....

The sky will be full of grey with fumes,

No smile, no laughs; only cries and hues...

People without limbs, skin, eyes and fingers.

Few people would still be happy,

Still want some of these more

More extortion, more death

More sufferings and more cries...

Dew drops on grass turned red

Water bodies turned red

People drinking red water...

Suddenly cried the inner soul of the earth

Is this why I created this world?

Is this why I made all these people?

Is this why I gave them beautiful Nature?

God got furious and said :

If you want this then let it be like that....

Then followed a series of quakes,

Flood, cyclones and hurricanes...

Engulfing the people all around the world

No cries, no hues, no fright and no fight

Again the world became too beautiful

Lovely rainbows, snowy mountains

Sparkling dew drops and snowfalls all around

But no one to enjoy all that.......

Suddenly with that thought I found myself awake

Is this what the life we want to make?

Having lot of fears but smiling fake,

Though our eyes are open but when we all be awake?

I made a promise to me on that day

From now whoever comes on my way,

I'll try to tell them that the life is wonderful

Live and let live and be cheerful

Whatever others are doing

Just forgive and keep smiling

Nobody knows what will happen tomorrow

But I'll always try to be happy and make others too...

There might be few who loves to give sorrows to others

But try to take their sorrows and spread love....

Once you starts practicing it,

You will feel from the bottom of your heart;

Life is a wonderful gift presented to us by God

And the world is indeed a beautiful place to live in....
